Beginnings…

“And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.” ― Meister Eckhart

There is a magic with new beginnings- large or small… Don’t you agree. Something about the freshness of it all. Today I am reminded of that, especially this time of year. I am about to start my very first summer completely off. No jobs, No plans, No requirements. People… I have worked EVERY summer since I was 15. I know hard to believe… I’m a teacher – we “have summers off”. After now 20 years in the business- this is the FIRST summer I will not be working at all.

This tied with the fact that I have been missing writing, sharing, communicating. The last couple of years I have been overwhelmed with all that is happening in the world and in education. I have gained a ton of weight, over thought all things, and doubted my faith walk. With a little help from my husband, friends, and of course God. I have new path placed on my heart. I have been working and praying and will bring more details soon. 2021 I picked the word finished and well there are a very very time consuming projects I started in 2019- that I must finish. (If you are a teacher in the US- I am finishing my national boards portfolio.)

This new beginning brings  me lots of excitement. I am going to be OverFlawed and real on my thoughts on issues in education (especially North Carolina). I am going to be OverFlawed and real on my weight loss journey. I am going to be OverFlawed and real on my faith walk.  I hope you hit a follow button and come along.
